Ended Up Okay but painful process
The first sign was delivered damaged (placed with expedited shipping for an emergency situation). It took several days to get the replacement and many, many emails back and forth with photos of damage etc. to get the new sign. I then had to go back to get the invoice revised to remove taxes that were charged for a municipality that is tax exempt. I assume most traffic signs are non-taxable for this reason and it should have been an easier transaction.
The gentleman there actually told my boss "he didn't want me to be upset" which is inappropriate. I just wanted my sign. My mood should have nothing to do with a simple transaction over the internet.
