Option: 01 The Slippery When Wet (W8-5) sign may be used to warn of unexpected slippery conditions. Supplemental plaques with legends such as ICE, WHEN WET, STEEL DECK, or EXCESS OIL may be used with the W8-5 sign to indicate the reason that the slippery conditions might be present. 02 The LOOSE GRAVEL (W8-7) sign may be used to warn of loose gravel on the roadway surface. 03 The ROUGH ROAD (W8-8) sign may be used to warn of a rough roadway surface. 04 An UNEVEN LANES (W8-11) sign may be used to warn of a difference in elevation between travel lanes. 05 The BRIDGE ICES BEFORE ROAD (W8-13) sign may be used in advance of bridges to advise bridge users of winter weather conditions. The BRIDGE ICES BEFORE ROAD sign may be removed or covered during seasons of the year when its message is not relevant. 06 The FALLEN ROCKS (W8-14) sign may be used in advance of an area that is adjacent to a hillside, mountain, or cliff where rocks frequently fall onto the roadway.
